First Pacific Division

I like they way they are looking so far this season. Loving the fact they have silenced some of the Clipper Bullshit. If they continue to play this way I don't see anyone in the division that can over take them...

The Lakers remind me of a college team with a lot of talented sophomores. They'll get better as the season goes on and Andrew gets better and gets more playing time.

In some programs sophomores are the new seniors....especially those who make an impact on their team and program. I thought Jordan Farmar would still be wearing a Bruins uniform this year and yet he's not only with the Lakers he's making significant contributions.

Some rumors they may package some of these young guys and trade for a veteran like maybe Garnett in the next off-season. I have mixed feelings about that but they do need a third scorer to emerge

Say what you want about the Lakers or Kobe but I think a majority of players would like to be in the Laker organization. Garnett would be a great addition but it would come down to if he could work in the system that Coach Phil is putting forth....and other things of course...he seems loyal to Minnesota but that might be fading their best chance to make the NBA finals was a couple of years ago and might not come around again any time soon...

I have a lot of respect for Garnett, but what worries me is what the Lakers may have to give up in order to get him. I don't know that it's worth it.

I am of the opinion that they need to share the ball and have the open player score it. Take the best shot on the floor, they have plenty of guys who can score it. I hope they get to that point someday.

Theres been a lot of talk about that but honestly, I dont think its worth it. Considering the young talent that we have, Garnett is great but he isnt the "future" of the Lakers if you know what I mean. I praise Jerry's desicion on working in new, young players (with great talent) around Kobe's leadership. As much as I love Garnett, I hope that we dont trade away pieces of the team that are just starting to get a handle on Phil's game plan.

Maurice Evans seems to be turning into a strong, and reliable scorer off the bench. A great relief to the teams top scorer, Bryant, which will prove relieving both as a reserve and starter if Bryant misses games (praying on my knees that wont be the case).

The thing about the Suns is, they have the perfect team for the current rules. You can't put your hands on anyone, so they just run to their spots (if you get in their way, it's a foul). I wish the NBA would adopt more of the international rules, make it a more uniform game. That way we wouldn't get our butts kicked in international play.

I'm not too concerned about the Suns. We saw last year that they can be beat in the playoffs. The main thing is to get into the playoffs, hopefully have some home series too.

Agree, but they do have Stoudlemeyer back and he is a beast.
Not the same team this year.

You need only give a one word response every time the subject is brought up:

            suck.

People will eventually stop talking to you about them.

            :)

          Watched the Suns-Wizards game,
          even though the Wizards won
the Suns are a scary - title-contender-type team
          no doubt
